This vintage Piaget timepiece exemplifies the manufacture’s high jewelry artistry from the 1980s. Housed in a rectangular 18k solid yellow gold case with stepped, factory diamond set lugs, the watch features a stone marquetry dial composed of vertical natural lapis lazuli stripes alternated with pave set brilliant cut diamonds. Driven by Piaget’s ultra thin Caliber 8P1 quartz movement, the piece combines fine Swiss watchmaking with gemstone craftsmanship, completed by an integrated royal blue alligator strap and an authentic 18k solid gold pin buckle.
